2009 PAG Youth Volunteers Produce Music Video - "The World is One"
"We are, spiritual beings havin' human experience; one voice building a bridge of song in unison . . ."
Members of the 2009 PAG mission to Swaziland not only delivered medications, helping hands, and a giving heart, but also a lasting cultural influence through music. "The World is One" is written and produced by PAG volunteers Chenits "Reese" Pettigrew (aka Chen-lo) and Lorenze LaNier (aka Youngface), and Swaziland's next-generation stars. The song was aired on live radio throughout the country within a day of its creation.

PAG Board Member and Youth Delegate Bestowed with Lincoln Center Honor
PAG Board Member and volunteer, Chenits R. Pettigrew and his band, Chen Lo and the Liberated Family, were selected as one of 10 bands to be a part of the Lincoln Center 2010 Rhythm Road: American Music Abroad program. The program is a collaboration between the Lincoln Center and the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs, with the mission to “share America’s unique contribution to the world of music and to promote cross-cultural understanding and exchange among nations worldwide.” See the Rhythm Road website to view the tour schedule, and to find out more about Chen Lo and the Liberated Family and their current location.

PAG Executive Director Named as the Recipient of the 2008 Family Physician of the Year Award
On Friday, April 25, 2008, PAG Executive Director, Dr. Condessa Curley was presented with the prestigious California Academy of Family Physicians (CAFP) 2008 Family Physician of the Year Award. CAFP awards this title each year to "individuals who exhibits the finest qualities of family physicians and who goes above and beyond in service to patients and community."
